                                        February 2008
                           What happens after Boot Düsseldorf?

Like every year the Boat show was a success. Even though it is a long and intense exhibition of 9  days, we are always happy to meet our clients and talk to them face to face.
On the last day at 18 o'clock, all mega yachts in hall 6A are saying goodbye, by blowing their horn. Within minutes exhibitors are taking down their stands and workers come in with lift trucks to move things around.
Thanks to the organisation off Schenker,it only takes 2 days, before we can get the yachts out.
At this very moment, our captains and pilots are travelling back and forwards to take the yachts to their loading ports.

When the pontoon arrived in Rotterdam, they started discharging the yachts on the carrier. Maybe you have seen them, since the carrier stayed,  during a 3 day event in the harbour. The event  was mend to attract and activate young (Dutch) people to work in the shipping industry. After this 3 days event, the carrier set course to Dubai.

We would like to thank Michel Kodde, for letting us use these pictures he took in Waalhaven Rotterdam.

Later this month, we loaded a Pershing 88 in Genoa. This yacht is on her way to Dubai and is owned by a private owner.
In Giaio Tauro we also loaded a yacht with the destination Dubai. This Dominator will be shown at the Dubai boat show, which will take place from March 11th till the 15th.
We will be there too!
